The Composition
Advisory and consulting
The Composition is where Maestro engages directly with clients to solve specific organizational challenges. Each engagement is scoped to the client's situation, grounded in real operational experience, and delivered personally by the firm's founder. Five service areas live here, and engagements often combine two or more.
Experience Architecture
Most leadership development programs are purchased from a catalog. A vendor arrives with pre-built content and a facilitation guide designed to work for any audience. Experience Architecture works in the opposite direction.
Maestro begins with the client's world: their strategic priorities, their cultural tensions, their operational reality. From that raw material, Maestro constructs an experiential leadership program or simulation that could only exist for that organization, because it was built from materials no one else possesses.
The experiential toolkit includes simulations, sport and performance metaphors, immersive multi-day formats, structured peer coaching, inquiry-based facilitation, and action planning for sustained behavior change. Programs can be delivered at partner venues, on the client's campus, or in virtual formats.
Organizations should consider Experience Architecture when off-the-shelf leadership development has failed to produce lasting change, when a program needs to reflect a specific strategic moment, or when the goal is an experience senior leaders will reference for years.
Evidence
Multi-day immersive leadership programs designed and delivered for Fortune 100 executives at Intuit, AbbVie, eBay, Hyatt, and Meta, as well as a multi-company Conference Board cohort featuring leaders from Procter & Gamble, Lockheed Martin, Ford, Merck, Kaiser Permanente, PepsiCo, Intel, Pfizer, HSBC, and the U.S. Navy. Programs achieved 100% satisfaction across all learning objectives. The "Leading the LS&CO. Way" program for Levi Strauss used IDEO design thinking methodology to move 76 global leaders through a hands-on cultural transformation experience with a budget exceeding $300K per session.
Change Leadership
Organizations undertaking major transformations need more than a project plan. Whether centralizing operations, deploying new technology, restructuring teams, or shifting culture, the human dimension determines whether the investment produces a return or becomes an expensive disruption.
Change Leadership provides the diagnostic tools, communication architecture, training design, and stakeholder management required to move an organization from resistance through adoption to ownership. The methodology includes Change Readiness Assessments that survey distinct stakeholder groups, producing a visual diagnostic that identifies where organizational energy and resistance concentrate. From that diagnostic, Maestro designs targeted communication plans, training strategies, and ongoing measurement to track whether behaviors are actually shifting.
Organizations should consider this offering when a major change initiative is underway or planned and the leadership team recognizes that the outcome depends on whether people adopt the new way of working or quietly resist it.
Evidence
A full Change Leadership workstream at First American Title during a centralization of 103 offices into five regional claims centers. The engagement included Change Readiness Assessments across four stakeholder groups, a seven-step communication plan, a training strategy for over 200 employees, and a centralized organization design. The change workstream contributed to $19.3M in projected annual benefit against $2.1M in consulting fees.
Executive Advisory
Senior leaders navigating intense career moments benefit from an advisor who has operated at the highest levels and can provide analysis, perspective, and guidance without an organizational agenda. Whether stepping into a new role, managing through organizational crisis, preparing for a board presentation, or evaluating a strategic pivot, the advisory relationship creates a confidential space for structured thinking.
Engagements are typically structured as ongoing relationships with regular sessions, though they can also be scoped around a specific challenge or time period. The advisory draws on the full depth of Maestro's experience across Olympic operations, Augusta National, Nike, Deloitte, and direct work with Fortune 100 executives.

Organizational Strategy
This offering serves organizations that need a structured, facilitated process to produce a strategic plan, an operating model, or a clear direction for a major decision. Engagements are compressed into a defined number of sessions, supported by stakeholder interviews, environmental analysis, and a polished final deliverable.
Maestro's facilitation methodology is built on formal needs analysis, scoped objectives, audience dynamics assessment, and thematic threads woven through the engagement to connect topics into a coherent strategic narrative. Environmental analysis (including PESTEL), stakeholder mapping, capabilities assessment, and structured ideation are standard tools deployed based on the client's situation.
Mid-market companies often reach a strategic inflection point without the internal resources or facilitation expertise to work through it cleanly. This offering provides a structured path from ambiguity to a documented plan the leadership team can execute against.
Evidence
A four-phase strategic planning engagement for North Augusta Forward produced a five-year strategic plan with six strategic outcomes, prioritized initiatives, stakeholder mapping, capabilities assessment, and a PESTEL operating environment analysis. At Deloitte, the same methodology produced a future-state claims operating model for CSAA, a distribution strategy and transformation roadmap for State Compensation Insurance Fund, and a one-day operating model workshop for Torus Insurance that moved from vision to technology vendor direction in a single session.
Talent Architecture
Many mid-market companies reach a point where their people systems can no longer keep pace with organizational growth. Roles are loosely defined. Career paths are informal. Compensation decisions are ad hoc. Competency expectations vary by manager. These are symptoms of an organization that has outgrown its relational operating model and needs institutional talent infrastructure.
Talent Architecture builds that infrastructure. Engagements may include career level frameworks that define progressive expectations across management levels, competency models that specify the observable behaviors required at each role and level, job matrices that map financial authority, people leadership scope, and strategic responsibility across the organization, compensation analysis and benchmarking, and people analytics dashboards that give leadership visibility into workforce health.
This offering connects directly to The Dynasty Curve's thesis about organizations transitioning from cohesion-based coordination to systems-based coordination. The talent infrastructure Maestro builds is the bridge between those two states.
Evidence
A complete career development architecture built for Augusta National Golf Club: a nine-level career matrix with progressive expectations across seven dimensions, a competency model with 39 competencies mapped to specific roles and functional areas, director-level total compensation analysis, and a people analytics dashboard. This infrastructure supported an organization that doubled its permanent workforce while reducing voluntary turnover by 50% and stood up a learning academy delivering over 100,000 development hours.
